Un-intuitive yet useful advice for designers. I like the challenge of writing how-to articles that encourage the reader to try out the tips. Published on Medium by UX Collective.
I was a co-author of a peer-reviewed paper published in the Journal of Usability Studies. Information architecture, taxonomy design, and organising content is a topic I often return to.
I contributed a chapter to 'The customer onboarding handbook' published by CX Lead. The chapter I wrote comes out of a project to redesign the onboarding experience for a complex SaaS product.
I was commissioned by the much-missed .Net magazine to write an article based on a talk I'd given at a number of design meet-ups. I like the discipline of writing to a word count and an editorial deadline.
